I love this song but in all realness we are torturing animals and God said not to, Christians aren't Prov 31:8-9 and God's calling I'm calling but where is God's people? God has obviously given you a Heart of Mercy for/to steward the animals. God is a god of relationship. He wants us to partner with Him to accomplish His will. Sounds like you’re called to accomplish His will to protect animals. You should lean into that more for sure! 🙂 I assure you that God does love His animals. If you read the book of Jonah, He mentions how He doesn’t want to destroy the animals in Nineveh.

Keep faith dear. the hardest thing a parent can endure is to see their child suffering whilst being powerless to intervene. I know it from both sides, as a father to my son who was given a very bleak prognosis and spent his first month alive in neonatal intensive care, and as a recovering drug addict that subjected my immediate family to the horrors of addiction. It's a terrible malady that instills doubt, grief and resentment in all who are touched by our lives, particularly our families. I have known families that walked away from other members struggling with addiction, and I thank God that my family remained in my corner. They had to distance themselves to protect their hearts and to avoid perpetually enabling my problem, but they remained available for the day that I would hopefully be ready to live differently. That saved my life. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. Keep the faith in love, for love is the only chance any of us have for salvation. It's easy to hate. It takes true grit to live through love. You clearly do, which makes you both exemplary and inspirational. Stay strong love, and God bless.
