I used to work as a cashier and there was a gentleman who would bring a stack of $2 bills he’d collected over the years and hand them out to any children in line and would pay for his groceries with them. I remember asking him once if he was sure and he said he had no reason to keep them and it made people happy to see something unexpected like that.
