@platinum63 Yes, it's true that Dio was still alive when this record was made, I admit that I was wrong, I'm sorry.
But Dio is not featured on any song of this album.

@DarthSivius This was recorded in 2009, before Dio's cancer. I very much doubt that Jorn would or could have conceived, written, and recorded the entire album in a matter of weeks anyway.

The whole album was recorded before Dio's passing. It was being finished when Dio was about to die. Some people blamed Jorn for "exploiting" Dio's death, but the album was gonna release anyway, and to be honest, Jorn is known to be a great Dio fan. This kind of production can't be done in a few days, this is a long time piece of work... I totally agree with you!

My only complaint about Jorn's Dio album is that he avoided all of Dio's 90's stuff... Lock Up the Wolves, Strange Highways, and Angry Machines... In my opinion (and I'm sure most will disagree with me) his best three albums. Whatever though... This is an amazing cover, but I think the Rainbow version still reigns supreme for me...
