This song reminds me of my summer of 2011, where I went for a naked midnight swim with my best friend, and laid in his canoe together for hours, looking up at the clear night sky. We both jumped when a shooting star burned out among the white fairy dust layered on the black atmosphere. When we went back to shore, we could just see the faint tinge of pink on the horizon. We held hands as we kissed on the couch in the dainty cabin. I think that's when I fully realized his feelings for me, and my own for him. We didn't do anything more, just fell asleep in each other's arms... Intimacy was historically difficult for me to achieve, yet I had never been more eager to touch him and lay with him. I felt safe, protected, and warm. I'll never forget the feeling.

+Daniel De Kock This song isn't on an album unfortunately. You won't find it on "Go." Still waiting with fingers crossed that he will make a second solo album and put this on it!!

But "Go Quiet" isn't an actual album - it's a DVD of Jonsi performing acoustic versions of the songs on "Go" plus that song...  I think it's also on "Go Live" - but a real studio-recorded version isn't available.  Same with "Icicle Sleeves."  Those were only ever performed live.  Tomorrow will mark 5 years since I saw him live, by the way!!  =)  

Yeah, there are still ways to hear this lovely song.  It's all good.  =)  Thanks - it was a magical experience.  I have my fingers crossed for a second solo album - it's time!!  I love Sigur Ros, but I actually prefer Jonsi's solo stuff more.
