I was drawing while listening to this song and decided to draw a demon holding a rainbow orb transforming into an angel it's different I never drew anything so beautiful like that my art actually looks good for a change.
A couple of times I felt like crying while drawing it.

I never thought that I'd actually almost make myself cry to one of my own pictures

I once drew a picture of a person standing in the middle and four people putting their hands on top of the eyes and the ears. And the other two were holding onto her. They were angels and she couldnt see them. Like she was in an accident and they wanted her to forget it and be strong.
I was listening to a song were they said 'cover my eyes, cover my ears, tell me these words are a lie'

I was just getting started with drawing, but i think i will one day redraw it. ^^

I haven't really listened to Sigur Ros yet... (I do have their music in a playlist though.) Maybe Bon Iver? Um, you can also try to use a site called musicroamer.com which (to me at least) has given quite good recommendations in the past. Hope this helps!

listening to Jonsi makes you forget about everything that is so fucked in this world. For 4:30 minutes my life was perfection.

Same. I'm depressed, just as so many are, but music can form an escape of sorts. Most people think depression is bein' sad all the time, but it's more numbness... That's why some people resort to self harm and such, to kill numbness and let their mind shut up, just for a minute. That's all they need.
*But* this music is just as good, if not better than cutting, burning, carving or other. As you say, it's as close to, if not a perfect way of just *"feeling"* .

This song has an almost Sufjan-esque quality to it. The use of a choir, the woodwind flourishes, and the all-around orchestration really brought that fact out for me...
