Jones, Grace - Nightclubbing Lyrics
It's much louder than before, man
Can you hear me?
Nightclubbing, nightclubbing
We're what's happening
We're an ice machine
We see people, brand new people
They're something to see
We're nightclubbing
Bright-white clubbing
Oh isn't it wild?
Nightclubbing, nightclubbing
We're walking through town
Nightclubbing, nightclubbing
We learn dances, brand new dances
Like the nuclear bomb
We're nightclubbing
Bright white clubbing
Oh isn't it wild?
Nightclubbing, nightclubbing
We're what's happening
Nightclubbing, nightclubbing
We're an ice machine
We see people, brand new people
They're something to see
We're nightclubbing
Bright-white clubbing
Oh isn't it wild?

OHHHHHHH! so cooool! ......oh the 80s. Thanks for the memories
I've discovered new sides of raggae music with this album. & fell in love) btw I can hear here so many 'embryos' of the music of the following decades! Revolutionary Masterpiece!
I can't wait until the day this album is considered the masterpiece classic that it is...it'll happen
I already consider it so. Well said.
Take the band consisting of Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Sticky Thompson etc.etc. and you have artistic perfection. Look for the same band on Joe Cockers "Sheffield Steel", and works with Marianne Faithful. But team them with Grace Jones for three consecutive albums and you have the perfect synergy of all art forms.
heureusement qu'elle avait "sly & Robbie !!! pour les connaisseurs de reggae et dub.
woouuuuuu eine echte Wahnsinnsfrau...voller Stil und Klasse!!!
What's the AC/DC connection?
A couple of degrees of separation, but 'Walking in the Rain' was originally written/recorded by Australian band Flash and the Pan. Flash and the Pan were 2 members of The Easybeats - Harry Vanda and the late George Young (who were also noted Australian record producers). George Young had 2 younger brothers called Malcolm and Angus...
What do you get when you cross Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespere with Grace Jones?......... EPIC!!!
she's just perfect in what she does .. epic artist
