Jones, George - The Good Ole Bible Lyrics
I believe the Father Adam
Was the first created man
That Eve was made his wife
According to the Master's plan
The Lord they did offend
I believe the good ole Bible
From beginning to the end
I believe that master Able
Was slain by master Cain
That Noah did go in the Ark
To get out of the rain
I believe that little David
Slew Goliath and his men
I believe the good ole Bible
From beginning to the end
I believe the Hebrew children
Walked in the burning fire
That Ananias was struck dead
Because he was a lair
I believe that father Daniel
Walked in the Lions den
I believe the good ole Bible
From beginning to the end
I believe that the blessed Master
Turned the water into wine
As pure and sweet and harmless
As the grapes upon the vine
All other wines are mockers
The scriptures do contend
I believe the good ole Bible
From beginning to the end

Jones, George The Good Ole Bible Comments
It's *WAY* easier to believe than it is _not_ to believe. I've been blessed in so many impossibly miraculous ways for it all to not be true, and all by the time of my very young age of 25. My prayers go out to whoever disliked this, may he or she find the light one day.
I agree. It's *way* easier. But, some of us like to work.
God knows I love to work too. However, I'm confused. What does work have to do with believing?
+adam Anyway, as far as work goes, our jobs, our very sources of income are indeed a blessing from God, and I do acknowledge that and praise him everyday for the opportunity for work that he has given me. Because of prayer, I was able to leave my crummy underpaid job at CVS and became employed at a wonderful organization that pays me fairly for the amount of work I put in, and I get to work alongside some really fine wonderful people. Then, within a couple of years, I was able to acquire a mortgage and purchase my very first home! It's a wonderful home in a wonderful town that's very close to my work! I thank Jesus every night for giving me what I need to live comfortably! Furthermore, I wasn't born rich, far from it actually, as neither of my parents went to college. I'm still in college, so I don't have a high paid salary yet, and given today's economy, everything was against me in my pursuit to buy a home, but I prayed every night for at least two months and I knew that it would happen. As of December last year, I'm the proud owner of a quality home at a very low cost and with with an extremely low interest rate on the mortgage, plus, as I said, it's very close to my wonderful job that God has given me which provides me with a living and is helping me to pay my way through college. My overall point is that Jesus has and always will continue to keep on blessing me throughout my life, and trying to to anything without him will ultimately result in failure. All the failures in my life from before I started praying are proof of that *:)* I *CANNOT* and I *WON'T EVER* try to go without him in my life ever again!
A good friend of mine occasionally tells me, "Go with God! Alexander." That's the best advice anyone could ever give to someone, so I say the same, "Go with God! Adam." Believe me, you'll never go wrong then. *:)*
His voice was great in the beginning. It got better with age, but it was pure country back when country was country. Love this song - and "Brush Arbors."

BOB,
Thanks for posting this one. It was a real pretty song and I love the music. It was an oldie. It had been a really long time since I had heard it.
Darlene
Very nice, my friend.
I like this tune!
