After the lately song on stronger every day album they didn’t give him air time on other songs. He’s been in the independent scene since then with his own record company vibezelect records. His album helpless romantic was his first independent album. Then comfortable swagg, and bsides. His latest album called Understand is current in production. A quintessential late 1990s to early 2000s era love song. Jon B deserved better than what he got from his record company, the Edmonds's, and distributors back then. From what I hear and read about Jon B, he's a VERY nice guy who is about his music, authenticity, and other good traits. Why do fucked up things happen to good people? B should be still recording music, being a judge on singing shows, and etc.

I like some of his songs and he seems like a cool cat and all. Plus I completely got his back against the hate spewed by Jesse Williams' crew. But lyrically and musically he isn't at JB's or RT's level. That's just a fact.

This album didn't get the love it deserved. I personally think it was Jon B's finest effort. Many people including some of my friends were like its "Don't Talk plus a bunch of filler". Because that's the way it was marketed. Gems like this track were completely overlooked - listen to the lyrics and the delivery they're stupendous. You can feel his emotion and soul in this song. 

Don't Talk was what brought me in. Tell Me is what made me stay.

Now that truth be told, former Epic/Sony executive, Polly Anthony, undermined Jon's career. Unfortunately, just as Jon was ready to jump ship and join the new Dreamworks Records team with a lucrative contract, who but Polly shows up as a new hire. Jon was having none of it. He then was sought by Matthew knowles at Sanctuary Records Urban. On paper, not a bad move. In reatity, almost as bad as working with Polly again. He produced one of his finet albums in "Stronger Everyday" !

Like the poster below me, I've been in heavy Jon B. land listening to all of his albums and watching the various, but not enough, YouTube clips on him. Jon has 1 Double Platinum album in "Cool Relax", Platinum in "Bonafide", his fine debut and the stupdefying Gold in " Pleasures U Like" which Epic/Sony in their infinite wisdom abandoned after one Top 3 single in "Don't Talk". That didn't derail Jon, in fact, he returned with arguably his best album in "Stronger Everyday".

Like this sng a lot. I think about when Seal and Heidi got divorced when i hear this song. It's very soothing song to drive to.
