Another song that touch me personally is "You Gave My Heart A Home." For a long time I was in a abusive relationship, for nearly 18 years more mentally than physically but still it did it's damage, and left scars that nobody could see, and fears that I had to deal with. But then after I left the relationship, and was on my own for awhile, just me and my little boy, I tried to put the broken pieces back together, but it was difficult, and the old wounds and ghost from the past came back to haunt me now and then. But something wonderful happened, I met a wonderful man that finally "Gave My Heart A Home." It has been difficult for me to trust again, but he has shown me so much love, and kindness, sure we have our ups and downs but what relationship doesn't right? Thanks to his patience and understanding "my Heart Has Found A Home." Thanks once again Mr. Reid, for music that hits home.

My ex died in February 18th 2014, I listened to this song "This Is Not Goodbye " and it comforted me. because I realized that I wasn't going to say goodbye to him, just so long, because we will see each other again. His death was sudden, so I am still trying to come to terms with it, in my own way and music is the way that I cope with it, And another song that touched me was "Who Am I Gonna Call on Sunday." because I use to call him for help, sometimes, so it just kinda hit home personally. I just want to say Thankyou Johnny Reid for helping me through a difficult time, with your music.

Wendy, so sorry for your loss.. I lost my husband in May 2013 very sudden (he feel off a ladder at home)...We all find some way to cope with our grief.. A friend of mine told me about a belief about finding dimes and this helped me with my grief.. if you find a dime it means someone who is in heaven (or pasted on) is letting you now that everything is going to be ok.. dont spend these dimes.. keep them in a safe place...for the first 6 months I found dimes at the strangest times and knew it was my late husband telling me I would get through the grief and everything would be ok... Stay strong girl!! One day you will see him again!

Johnny was in Winnipeg we had the honor to go back stage and meet with him. I told him when we came in that my husband was a huge fan . He had a disease that was poisoning his brain and few things made him smile . Johnny was so kind as to actually spend a few min chatting . Ken watched Johnny Reid Videos everyday even on his death bed.
