Johnny Mathis - You Set My Heart To Music Lyrics
You set my heart to music
When you came my way
You made my life a love song
I can sing each day.
Scarcely touch my hand
You hardly said a word to me
When melody swelled in me.
You set my heart to music
Can it you hear it ring
Now morning, noon and evening
All I do is sing.
And pray that someday
Who will set your heart to music too.
Now morning, noon and evening
All I do is sing.
And pray that someday
That I’ll be the composer
Who will set your heart to music too.

We are soooo lucky to have the exquisite Johnny Mathis. Music was never so good!
I'm only 13 year old, But I love this!! <3 <3 <3
Damn 3 years ago
What a wonderful singer. I have listed to him for years and he is my top singer of all time. Have seen him a few times and love his shows. My only regret will be that I will never get to meet him before I die. The first time I heard him on the radio years ago in California I had no idea who he was and I thought he will make it and he did. A wonderful man. May you sing forever Johnny.
The most "golden" vocal chords. Johnny Mathis' voice is so magnificent it virtually takes flight. It certainly makes one's heart soar! Thank you for this post.
God, I used to sing this in the shower a lot. My poor Mum.
I can feel the tension leave. Silk isn't smoother
I remember buying this album when I was 12 years old. This was the very first Johnny Mathis album I bought with my own money. This album hold a very special place in my heart.
I remember buying this album when I was 12 years old. This was the very first Johnny Mathis album I bought with my own money. I memorized every song on this album and sang them at camp to all the girls. Well, one in particular. Jenna Van Cola. Ahhhh Memories.
This voice! This man! I have enjoyed this and him, for 50 years and I will do so untill my last living day. His voice from his "Dorian Gray"-days, and his voice today in 2010, I love that voice. And from all the decades in between.
This song is another beautiful one. From Norway: Berit.
Happy Birthday dear Johnny Mathis. I am
so fortunate that I have known you thru
your music. Some of your music has
touched my soul. Your voice has stood
the test of time. It's awesome!
