Well, still a great singer, but this song is depressing and he made no eye contact with the audience. To much like he didn't believe in the song. You can tell when a singer loves a song.... they sell it with their voice and their style. He looked down through the whole thing as if he's depressed too like the song. Sing us a love song JOHN! We fans love the love songs.

Not too sure if I agree with you on that one actually. I like his earlier stuff...only, I'm afraid. I have the same opinion with Bryan Adams and Robbie Williams. Great earlier but a bit like lost sheep after that. That is only my opinion and you and no doubt many others will totally disagree. That's fine coz that's why we're human. It would be a dead boring society if we either 1. agreed with everyone, or 2. disagreed with everyone.

Video is great, it must be sanctioned. As to the song, gritty lyric. Heartfelt I dare say. Tempo drags a bit. Needs more momentum and to grab you.

This live version ROCKS! Unlike his recorded version on his new album. I was highly anticipating the album, but when I heard this song on it I was very disappointed. What is up with his new songs lately? Its great that he has songs with lyrics that have meaning, but John, don't forget to include some rockin' songs that don't have to have a message to it as well. Rumbleseat anyone? Play Guitar? Don't forget to just rock out every now and then.

I went to seven shows on this tour. John and the band just totally rocked out on this song and it was one of my favorites. I was saying this was the "Stones In My Passway" song on this tour, sung with such compassion and conviction.
