John Mellencamp - All Night Talk Radio Lyrics

I see the rain fall past the tower
I'm the late night call-in show
I'm 50,000 watts of power
All night talk radio

They call from Maine to California
Broken hearts that fought so long
And through this night will share a lover
All night talk radio

How could so many be so lonely
Hands pressed cold against the phone
Beyond the stars does someone hear them
On the all night talk radio

They speak of homes betrayed and broken
Part-time jobs and unpaid loans
Join the cry beyond the voices
All night talk radio
What are a thousand points of light now
(Where are the thousand points of light now)
To warm a hundred thousand million souls
The truth cries out across the darkness
All night talk radio

How could so many be so lonely
Hands pressed cold against the phone
Beyond the stars does someone hear them
On the all night talk radio

I see the rain fall past the tower
I'm the late night call-in show
I'm 50,000 watts of power
All night talk radio

How could so many be so lonely
Hands pressed cold against the phone
Beyond the stars does someone hear them
On the all night talk radio
On the all night talk radio

As I would have bet on it- on this " my first through" ......I'm ABSOLUTELY LOVIN IT!!!!!!
When you've followed an artist as long as I have John, know the words to every song, + can reference each CD/album by what you were doing in life while you sang along to each song as if you wrote it.
I have ALWAY's described JOHN'S MUSIC AS "HEAVENLY"- each song was BORN, or CREATED, with one mission....make people automatically FEEL GOOD, in a partial SPIRITUAL WAY, + too because it MADE YOU GET UP + DANCE!!!!
I ❤️........❤️❤️❤️ ALL THE MUSIC OF THIS MAN THAT HAS BEEN A BIG PART OF MY LIFE 'S ENJOYMENT.......+ FOR THAT I AM THANKFUL TO THE MAN!!!

All I want is for johncougarmellon to know that this is one of my faverave songs of my heart...can you conceive of tearing two people apart, sharing a love by two women and only one man? One truth remains...but both expressions deserve to be heard (or "air"ed?)
