The Big Picture (1997), is a really masterpiece album, i don't understand how Bernie Taupin choose this album as his worst album that he made with Elton.

But it's the opinion of Bernie Taupin so i have to respect.

The big picture of 1997 was the last superb album of Elton John. It's sad how Elton took the fall right after this album. He did another nice song with LeAnn Rhimes and then his classic hits disappeared.

Elton John has been my number 1 since the 1960s and when he released his first album Empty Sky, I was hooked from the minute I heard it. He played a concert in Dundee, Scotland in the early 70s where I was lucky enough to meet him, his band and Kiki Dee who sang Don't Go Breaking My Heart with Elton as part of the concert. His music has been consistently powerful throughout his career. The man has met many personal challenges head on and turned them into gems of music that we have been privileged to hear and feel. Elton will always be top of the music world as far as I'm concerned and long may he continue to write and produce his timeless music.
