Joe Walsh - Slow Dancing Lyrics
I catch your reflection though smoke-filled eyes.
Begin my inspection I watch you.
Your smooth syncopation,
You synthesize the beat and the vibration.
There’s something about you, your sultry ways
Your style’s so enticing, you wear it well
Completely inviting I watch you.
[Chorus:]
If I smiled at you would you walk my way?
Would you have this dance with me?
Slow dancing, slow dancing, just you and me.
Those smooth operators prove their lives in anticipation.
Craft emulator of dark designs in fascination.
[Chorus]

americana in its finest form, thanks joe
During the 1980s Joe came to Australia every summer (or it seemed) and played with some Aussi musicians who called themselves the Party Boys. The lineup changed slightly but they were awesome. Then in the middle of this eighties madness he brought out a band that he called "The Creatures From America" Waddy Wachtel was one member I'm sorry I can't remember the other members except that the Bassist had played with Roy Buchanan where he sang on "Down By The River" on one of Roy's tours here. Thee point is that Joe, Waddy and the bassist and all the rest played most of the songs on the Confessor and they blew the fuckin' roof off the "Metro" a venue that still is in existence. Seeing Joe was always a treat but to see him with Waddy and the rest was one of the high points of my musical life. Thanks fro the upload.
