PSA: someone asked me what music I listen to. I replied country, rap, classic, blues and everything in between as long as it's good.
They often reply "country??" Country has a bad rep because of all the shit we hear on the radio. This makes a lot of people respond "ya but I listen to REAL country." I have a problem with this. Shit music isn't country it should be called RADIO country or POP country, and what is good country music should just be called COUNTRY.
It's degrading to the genre to allow radio/pop country to slide by as country.
