I still remember the first time I heard MC Jin, he still went by Jin in those days. I was 11 years old and I was in my middle school library. I was so excited and I told my uncle, who was 8 years older than me, and he gave me this CD that he had burned of Jin's 106th and Park battles, I used to listen to that CD all night. I even did a 9 week project about his career. Lol. On the day of the presentations, I was def the only 6th grade girl doing an oral report on her favorite rapper. He was the first person who made me feel like I was apart of something more. When he started YOFAM, I was so hyped. LOL. He was performing at a club in GA a little after all that and I begged my parents and my uncle to take me but they said I couldn't get it cause I was too young. Thank you for inspiring all of us.
I feel so sad listening to this. Jin is so underrated. With the talent he got he deserves much much more. These mainstream rappers out there nowadays like Nicki, Lil Wayne, Tyga. I ain't saying they ain't good. But the truth is Jin is just as good or even better when writing these lyrics with good means. I hope that more people could appreciate Jin's work.

But it is though if you've been a fan. Been a fan since 106. I was excited too when he got signed to RR cause DMX was my favorite rapper at the time. Funny thing is over the last 12yrs I've grown as a man and found Christ. It's amazing to see God work in Jin's life too.
