Jimmy Buffett - Tonight I Just Need My Guitar Lyrics

Gulf coast nights, flounder lights
I'm back on the Eastern shore
With my history of wrecks
I think It's time to check
The crab trap of life once more

Need is a relative thing these days
It borders on desire
The high tech world is full of bright shiny things
We think that we really require

Sometimes more than others
You see who and what and where You are
I'm a one-man band with no Immediate plans
Tonight I just need my guitar

Don't need to feel important or famous
No limos or my little Nash car
One lucky man
With my feet in the sand
Tonight I just need my guitar

I enjoyed this....just simple and real..almost as if you stood right there by the water and sang it..:) And it sounds so like you, when in a quiet, thoughtful mode. (sometimes all we need is a "guitar"...so that we can hear our heart and thoughts clearly.

I wish someone would put this to some shots of what Jimmy knows as "The Eastern Shore" Baldwin County, Alabama. Fairhope, Point Clear, Bon Secure, Daphne, you know? Home.

I'm a Mainer and my cousin just passed away. His sister shared your video and Jimmy Buffet's song as defining Dale Jr., my cousin. It certainly does. Thanks for this, you never who it helps until you put it out there. A grieving family sure appreciates it tonight....

I lived in Charleston as a kid, (Navy Brat) I wish I could visit SC again as an adult...being a Floridian I know beaches, and I'm saying SC Beaches are great too! I think SC has awesome stuff and as I kid I had no control of where I went and sights but I remember the fun stuff there and wouldn't mind going again espeically since I love history.
