Jim Reeves - Losing Your Love Lyrics
I filled up my pockets with money
Big trophies I've hung on my wall
My mansion sits high on the hilltop
And the world is impressed by it all.
And I've not been successful enough
For while I was thrilling the whole wide world
I was losing your love.
I forgot to kiss you
And hold to your charms
Success seems like nothing
To these empty arms.
All this time I've been gaining a treasure
For while I was thrilling the whole wide world
I was losing your love.
Slowly losing your love...

Jim Reeves Losing Your Love Comments
This is my cousin somewhere along the line and I love his voice very much he unfortunately died in 1964 two years before my grandma Anita Reeves was born
he died a day after my 17th
This song, is sooooo lovely.
So beautiful and so sad at the same time, one of my favorites!
Jim is just perfect. Thanks for sharing
Sadder than this song is the fact that the musical universe has spun itself away from Gentleman Jim. One of the smoothest yet honest and distinctive voices of all time. As great as he was in country music, I still think he is the most underrated artist in the genre. Can't say enough good about him.
Beautiful rendition by a great singer.Thank you for sharing.
The very best.
So simple, so pure, so real, so sensitive.. Jim at his best!
theres jim reeves, all others please remain seated
Classic Gentleman Jim. Another from the BEST.
happy birthday Jim Reeves today 20th August.
If this man is not the greatest singer in any genre, I don't know who is. Incredible voice!
Just perfect:)
To me Jim Reeves had the best voice in country music and this song confirms that Bill Anderson is one of the best songwriters of all time.
Sentimental and soothing.
The music of Jim Reeves: Perfection.
I was only 12 years old when I heard Jim Reeves for the first time. From that day on, I became a big fan! He is just a great singer with a beautiful voice, no one else can copy him. And it just feels so good to hear that beautiful warm voice.
Just the Best
