Jesus Jones - Zeroes And Ones Lyrics
Across the world the message flies
Information, truth and lies
It's all yours and it's all mine
You just have to find the time
We're all the same, we share the blame, we play the games
Zeroes and ones will take us there
This time the revolution will be computerized
You'll know it as you do it
In real time before your eyes
Slip between realities
There's more to this than anything that you or I can see
The world is mine the world is yours and here's the cause
Zeroes and ones will take us there
Seen the pictures on the wall
The beat of a heart
The oceans part and the patterns in my mind
This time, we've split the world once more
There's those that have and that don't in information wars
We're not alone 'cause all is known and it's everywhere, it's everywhere
Zeroes and ones will take us there

Saw these guys in concert with Soho. Loved the show!
Man did they ever call it spot on with this one. I would listen to this album whenever I would read 'Neuromancer' as a kid. Another prophetic bit of writing.
El milenian dice: Like si oyes esto en noviembre 2019.
El X generation says: cállate cabrón, deja oir a tus meros padres.
Notice how the guitar/synth combo is mimicking the sound of an old modem?
virtual reality was already in existence in 1992 when this was recorded. the internet also existed and personal computers were everywhere. so everything was already in place. the computer revolution had really taken off when ibm introduced the personal computer in 1981. apple had put out the apple 2 in 1979 or so but it didnt sell well . so really everything was moving in that direction.

their music is still contemporary in 2019!!!
This Jesus Jones album followed U2’s Achtung Baby in 1991 and was a contemporary of Zooropa - how was this album not a massive hit? Don’t get it. Their best work IMO - 1993.
Mike Edwards. He saw the future.
What i really want to say~♥
- EXCELLENTLIESTTT!!!)👏😇
Jesus Jones is a dick to people with epilepsy
Demitry Scavenger 🤣
sherilynn + lara
This is very-very good (like The Prodigy mix too).
Aphex Twin remix winner
The first time i heard about this band Jesus Jones was when i was thirteen years old... This song was remixed by The Prodigy back in the nineties and it was one of my favourite songs back in those days. The original is no worse :) Being a teenager in Iceland back in the nineties... The Prodigy was one of the greatest legends in Iceland back then (Prodigy, Experience and The Jilted Generation). I find it strange 20 years later that this band wasen´t a bigger hype.
Great, underrated band
Underrated single from an underrated album. Top Tune :)
@Chris Hine This song was perhaps 15 years ahead of it's time. The lyrics, while some terminology is slightly outdated, are probably more relevant now than when Mike wrote them. Definitely one of their best songs!
