Jesus Culture - Fire Fall Down Lyrics

'Cause I know that You're alive
You came to fix my broken life
And I'll sing to glorify
Your Holy name, Jesus Christ

Sing it, You bought - [spoken]

You bought my life with the
Blood that You shed on the cross
When you died for the sins of men
And You let out a cry, crucified, now alive in me

These hands are Yours
Teach them to serve as You please
And I'll reach out desperate to see
All the greatness of God
May my soul rest assured in You

I'll never be the same
No, I'll never be the same

Sing it, 'cause I know - [spoken]

'Cause I know that You're alive
You came to fix my broken life
And I'll sing to glorify
Your Holy name, Jesus Christ

You changed it all, You broke down the wall
When I spoke and confessed
In You I'm blessed, now I walk in the light
In victorious sight of You

And I know

I'll never be the same
No, I'll never be the same
Sing it out - [spoken]
Cause I know that You're alive
You came to fix my broken life
And I'll sing to glorify Your holy name, Jesus Christ

And I know

'Cause I know that You're alive
You came to fix my broken life
And I'll sing to glorify
Your Holy name, Jesus Christ

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

As we seek
Your fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Let's lift it up, oh yeah
Your fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Lift your voices
As we seek You, Lord
As we seek You, Lord

Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Show me Your heart
Sing it
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Let it be your cry
Lift your voices
Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Show me, Lord
Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Oh

Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Show me Your heart
Show me Your way
Show me Your glory

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Your fire fall down
On us we pray

Fire fall down
Fire fall down

why do we have to talk doctrines of man and man understanding in videos? can we not just enjoy the presence of Christ? he never wanted it to be this way, arguing ect. but one mind. denominations pfft ...GIVE ME CHRIST! I want His power his joy his understanding his words his thoughts because all the things I do or can do is a false act.

Then I asked, if he's been aforementioned, and approved of, which one? I opened to Apocrypha, Wisdom of Jesus Son of Sirach, Sir 45:7-12 "He made an everlasting covenant with him, and gave him the priesthood of the people....He clothed him with superb perfection, and strengthened him with the symbols of authority...And he encircled him with pomegranates, with very many golden bells round about, to send forth a sound as he walked, to make their ringing heard in the temple as a reminder to his sons and to his people; with a holy garment, of gold and blue and purple, the work of an embroiderer, with the oracle of judgment, Urim and Thummin; with twisted scarlet, the work of a craftsman ...the dlight of the eyes, richly adorned. Before him there never were such beautiful things..."

when someone tells me they're afraid, or just anxious, or even terrified, i ask them of what? drill down, and the answer is always 'of dying'. if we're blessed enough to get to that, the rest is easy. no, you're not afraid of dying. dying is usually painless, brief, and if there is physical pain, it's brief too. what we're truly afraid of is not dying. it's living. it's fear of looking at what we've 'killed' intentionally or not, in our lives, in the past and what we fear we may 'kill" in the future. once that realization dawns, and we decide that we want to live, the fear of 'dying' does too. some call this salvation, and yes it can happen instantaneously if it's Gd's will (if you have grace) AND you exercise your FREE WILL to accept it. best advice i've ever recieved is to dive deep in your lowest moments with openess to grace and if it's meant to be, one of those moments will create a 'new dawn' and you will NEVER be the same.

I know about the fire of God when I first got saved I was burning with fire in my soul from Gratitude. I remember how passionate I was. I still am* but in this walk, you must guard your Heart and your passion because there is plenty of distractions and lost people that because they don't feel the way you feel. they make you feel weird for being in love with God. after all this, i learned that God is to be shared verbally but with God and your flair your rush to seek Him. this is treasure and you shouldn't let anyone in your inner circle with God. that's just You and Him and where you give Him everything. let Noone steal that from you. it's hard to get back once it's gone. God bless you and pursue God with your whole Heart. in Jesus Name!

  22. M.... A....

Wow, What a way to start a new month 5/1/16. I opened my Bible to page 1111. It was a teaching on Matthew 5:44 “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
This question was posed, “Do you immediate forgive those who hurt you?”
This is going very deep for several reasons. One is I am learning about strongholds in our minds. In many situations and conversations I know how the person is going to react, so I am prepared with my comeback. Or I have already written off what they are going to say to me so I know it will be hurtful, ungodly, or just wrong advice.
What if I forgive them before the conversation or while we are talking. Jesus must have done this with all His accusers and unbelieving disciples when they were just not on the same page.
I feel misunderstood, taken for granted, stomped on, not encouraged, belittled… As I cave into these feelings instead of forgiveness strongholds are forming in my mind and heart. These strongholds can be now used by Satan to confuse me and tempt me to hold a grudge and feel sorry for myself. Wow, glad I opened my Bible today.
I can only pray out of a heart of forgiveness. Here’s the scripture to support this. Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. Matthew 5 :23-24
When we are saved, we have the Holy Spirit inside of us. If we are holding the Bible, we can open in and ask the Lord to point out what He wants us to know or convict us of at that moment. I do this sometimes before taking communion.
The article I was reading had some other very good advice:
    1. Forgive offender immediately
    2. Seek to understand before being understood. Wow, that is a blow to my pride.
    3. Speak in non combative, yet truth words. Truth has enough power on it’s own.

    M.... A....

Very well said. I am a pastor who has been teaching on Strongholds. You are right about strongholds. They keep us from acting or believing that God can act. 2 Corinthians 10:4 talks about strongholds, We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.
Abortion in America is a stronghold on the minds and hearts of God's church. Ask any one if we can overturn Roe, and you hear NO, not just unbelievers but THE CHURCH.
The stronghold of Abortion has caused the church to loose it's faith, and at the same time 60 million babies are dead. Satan has won on two counts destroying the faith of the church and murdering 60 little images of God.
I choose to believe Philippians 4:13, and that one day soon we will end this practice of murder in America.

Thank you very much for this wonderful video.. You just touched my heart for Jesus. :)

  27. i.... ....

Yes.  So much of this is right, but that line "fire fall down" shows biblical ignorance.  We all learn as we grow in Christ, but these guys get songs out to the public before they've understood much of Scripture.  As mentioned in the comments, "fire" is a word used throughout all of Scripture to describe God's wrath.  You don't want His fire.  Ever.

    i.... ....

I'm not sure what the doctrinal statement of the body of believers I fellowship with has to do with our conversation.

    i.... ....

Obviously our doctrine has distinctions.  If I tell you I hold to a reformed soteriology and a cessationist view of spiritual gifts will you not then fit me into a theological box so you can dismiss me?  Better we deal with the texts themselves I would think.

    i.... ....

God pours fire upon us because we have made ourselves living sacrifices to God. Jesus baptizes us with the holy spirit and fire. it symbolizes God's love a consuming fire God bless brother

    i.... ....

Hi Dan, there is not one biblical reference to fire as being a good thing. baptism with fire is judgment not blessing. I've dealt with that text already, see my earlier comments. You seem like a respectful man. We must let God's Word inform us as to truth and not Christian culture. Blessings.

    i.... ....

Amen. While Jesus indeed came to baptize us in the Holy Spirit and Fire and judgment begins in the house of God (to free us, not as judgment on the world) we as believers know His fire is sent to purify thee vessels for our God is a Consuming Fire and jealous over our hearts. To have His fire burning in my heart through the power of the Holy Spirit is to have His Word consume my heart and my love blossom so strong that I cannot contain it; one might say I have a fire shut up in my bones and I must let it out!!!!!!!!!!!    Many blessings my brother.

Beacause I know that You're alive
You comme to fix my broken life
And I sing to glorify Your Name JESUS CHRIST

I just want to say thank You Jesus!

God is a Consuming Fire. They are talking about  spiritual fire as Holy Ghost filled.

To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this: 15'I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.

Just be on fire for the LORD and stop the stress of quoting scriptures and putting your own meaning to them.

    P.... a....

@caldyn phillip Hi Caldyn, No need to get defensive.  If a brother can help me better understand God's word blessed is he.  Do you not agree?  Should we not hold each other accountable to accurately handle God's word?  What I hear you saying is forget about trying to understand the Bible just be excited about God.  Having a zeal for God or "on fire" as you put it is worthless apart from the truth.  True passion for God comes from understanding His word and applying it to our lives.  For apart from Christ we can do nothing.

Can you share with me where I put my own meaning into the verses I shared with you about God being a consuming fire?

    P.... a....

@Shane Haffey @caldyn phillip  Hi both! :) I agree that being accountable to each other in walking God's path is needed for us to grow in Christ, which is why I find this discussion wonderful. :) Just my two-cents' worth: We become "on fire" for the Lord when we understand His love, His sacrifice, and commit ourselves to Him. It's wonderful to be on fire for Him.. At the same time, being on fire means you would want to devour God's Word. Let us not be too literal on the meaning of His Words.. We know our God is powerful and has authority over everything. One thing can become different in His hands. Fire was indeed used to destroy, but fire was also used to signify the Spirit, to signify zeal for the Lord. Anything can be good or bad, it all depends on how one wants it to be. Lastly, I hope we don't go into a verse battle where everyone is already set on defending and not on understanding, because I think in a hit-on-hit between Christians, only Satan wins. God bless guys.. :)

    Dear all

Yes, let's always go back to the word (:

Mark 3:11 teaches us that through Jesus we will receive a baptism of Spirit and fire. This is directed to us disciples (believers; saved) and so 'fire' in this context cannot refer to the wrath of God since through Christ we have already been made righteous.

'Fire', in the context of believers, is described in 1 Cor 3:12-13 as that which 'will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.' In fire is where we are refined, where all things that are worthless and hinder our relationship with God will be burnt up ('wood, hay, straw'), revealing the 'gold, silver, precious stones' in us; till we become the pure and spotless Bride (Eph 5:27) for God's glory and the Bridegroom's coming (Matt 35:1-13).

Hope this offers some understanding (:

Every time scripture records fire falling from heaven it never ends well for us.

    E.... H....

Shane haffey. That's exactly what I've been studying. I've also been reading the book by John MacArthur "strange fire".

    E.... H....

fire symbolize two different thing in the bible.... Luke 3:16
John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

    acts 2:1-15
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. ...

+Arriel Neal Hi Arriel.. Re: Luke 3, the reference to fire is a reference to judgment. The contrast between Spirit and Fire is also made in the very next verse. Notice V17 - wheat are gathered and the chaff are burned with fire. Wheat represent believers that have the Holy Spirit and the chaff represent unbelievers that will be thrown into hell at the judgment. Mathew 3:11-14 makes this even more clear. Fire here is clearly a reference to judgment.

I've already addressed the Acts 2 passage. The author is trying to explain a supernatural phenomenon - tongues or "languages". Luke describes this ushering in of the Spirit as "like" fire. Emphasizing the wonder and awe of the event.

When songs are created like "fire fall down" it demonstrates the Biblical illiteracy that is so prevalent today. Nowhere in the scripture do we see that fire falling down is likened to blessing in any way. In fact it is always a reference to judgement. Asking God to send fire down is a foolish statement. We don't get to make us whatever we want and ask God to receive it as worship. This is not worship because it is not consistent with God's Word. It is more consistent with pagan worship. Mystical and emotional but void of truth. Acceptable worship is offered in truth. The timeless, infallible and all sufficient Word of God.

    E.... H....

@Shane Haffey I'm not going to argue with you ... let the script translation it's self ,it doesn't need no help

    E.... H....

explain 2 Chronicles 7:1 when the fire fell as God's approval upon the house of Solomon. God's fire is 2 fold: one for judgement and one for approval. Luke 9:49 Jesus said he came to cast fire upon the earth but in verse 50 he sid he must go through the baptism of death? To unleash Judgement, no but the fire of empowerment in acts 2. if he doesn't go away the Holy Spirit does not come
