Psycho Candy is probably the ONLY album out of all the wrest that took The Velvets sound and truly made it there own. There's been great attempts but nothing compared to Psycho Candy

I listen to bands like Mudhoney, the Buzzcocks, the Sex Pistols, the Clash (their early stuff), the Dead Kennedys, etc. You're definitely not alone. I fucking hate my generation's taste of music. Why the fuck do people like Nikki Minaj and shit? It's like ear rape...

I completely agree, but IMO Munkie also has some great songs on it. Munkie just isn't as grungy sounding in general, which is why I prefer Psychocandy.

When I first played this album, my parents said it sounded like jet planes taking off. The 1980s were such great times.

'Cmon! give the kid a break! We all felt, when we were young, having the most interesting taste in music. Besides, this music is not being played anywhere anymore, so he took the time to actually do some research about this band. At least let's praising for that.
