This song really does hold up well after the years. I seem to remember an interview with the band where the veejay asked the bass player why he only had two strings on his bass and he said he wasn't sure because he only ever used one.

Freakin' love these guys. Psychocandy was good; Darklands was even better, but I think Automatic may be their Magnum Opus. So many good songs - Here Comes Alice, Head On, Blues From a Gun, Between Planets, Halfway to Crazy... Love the melodies on Darklands too, though. Unbelievably GREAT band.

I was curious of what would happen if I googled google, lets just say underwhelming was the result. I was hoping for a tear in the space time continuum or something. All is well because this song extinguished my disapointment.
