Jerry Lee Lewis - Seasons Of My Heart Lyrics

Seasons come seasons go we get a little sunshine rain and snow
Just the way that it was planned to be
But there's no seasons in my heart while you play the leading part
But I guess what is to be my dear will be
Your leaving will bring autumn sorrow and my tears like withered leaves shall fall
Though may bring some glad tomorrow
You know darling we might have been happy after all

Your leaving will bring autumn sorrow and my tears like withered leaves shall fall
Though may bring some glad tomorrow
You know darling we might have been happy after all

This is a great recording, with Jerry playing a harpsichord, the only time he did it to my knowledge. A good song to sit at the bar and drop a few.

    What year was this????

Written and first recorded in 1955 by George Jones. It is a classic country-and -western ballad, recorded by many singers. Jerry Lee's versions (this one, and the the better-known one with his sister Gail) are from the early 1960s -- I don't have the exact date to hand.

Hadn't heard this one in a long, long time. The solo hi did on this one is nothing short of masterful, and even iconic!  He was really investing himself to the max on this one.

Awesome with harpsichord!! I just know, he also played "rockin pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu" with harpsichord, it sounds awesome when jerry plays it

This is one that most never heard. But what a great country song and presented by the master.  Jerry Lee, the master country pianist and balladeer.

is there a way to get a song off of you tube onto mp3 player - very new to this

This is a great song. George Jones has the definitive country version and Jerry Lee Lewis the definitive blues version. And you know in both it is real music.
