I remember this song. It was the only song that got airplay on this ‘Feel The Fire’ album. Actually not bad, I thought it should have gotten a little more airplay.

Fantastic song by Jermaine. Clearly inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire...but hinted at what Switch would sound like when they came out.

NOPE. Sounds like an EWF song. Actually embodies the musical stylings of the late 70's. Motown didnt maket it correctly. Should have been up there with the Confunkshuns of the world.

It sounds like a Switch song because some of the the musicians from Switch assisted Jermaine on writing, arranging and production on this and some other cuts in the late 70’s.

I just picked this album up never before opened and was surprised to hear the pitch the album was really made. The mp3 version i had was higher pitched.

For years I thought the name of the song was come and get it which explains why I couldn't find it on YouTube or when it came out

This exact same thing happened to me! Seached for so long to find it. So weird that could happen but it did.

This is my tune right here.  Makes me sad how folks sleep on Jermaine's music...ESPECIALLY his 70s and EARLY 80s cuts.  Released BEFORE Switch debuted...but probably around the time he and Hazel were working with Switch on their first album.  

You already know! Jermaine was no joke on the bass. Not only that, the Brotha was fine as hell. Bashful, yet he had charisma.
