Jennings, Waylon - Medley Of Buddy Holly Hits Lyrics
Well All Right
Well all right, so I'm bein' foolish
Well all right let people know
About the dreams and wishes you wish
And the night when lights are low.
Well all right, well all right
We'll live in love with all our might
Well all right, well all right
Our lifetime love will be all right.
Well all right, well all right
We'll live in love with all our might
Well all right, well all right
Our lifetime love will be all right.
It's so easy to fall in love
It's so easy to fall in love.
Look into your heart and see
What your love would set a part of me
It sems so easy, oh, so go on easy
Mhm, it seem so easy, oh, you concern my heart at whirl.
It's so easy to fall in love
It's so easy to fall in love.
Maybe Baby
Maybe baby, I'll have you,
Maybe baby, you'll be true
Maybe baby, I'll have you for me
It's funny honey, you don't care
You never listen to my prayer
Maybe baby, you'll love me someday
Well, you are the one that makes me glad
And you are the one that makes me sad
Well, someday you want me, you will
I'll be there to wait and see.
Maybe baby, I'll have you
Maybe baby, you'll be true
Maybe baby, you'll love me some day
Peggy Sue
If you knew Peggy Sue
Then you'd know how I feel blue
About Peggy, my Peggy Sue
Oh well, I love you gal
And I need you Peggy Sue.
I love you, Peggy Sue
With the love so right and true
Oh Peggy, my Peggy Sue
Oh well, I love you gal
And I need you Peggy Sue.
Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, Peggy Sue
Oh Peggy, my Peggy Sue
Oh well, I love you gal
And I need you Peggy Sue.
Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, Peggy Sue
Oh Peggy, my Peggy Sue
Oh well, I love you gal
And I need you Peggy Sue...

This is what amphetamines sound like
Who stole this record from
Me!?
This has to be one of the coolest songs out there
Back by The Crickets and Sonny Curtis
(Not So) Fun Fact: Waylon was Buddy Holly's bassist (and played it with finesse and grace, I'm sure) on the infamous Winter Dance Party of early '59 that, in turn, led to The Day The Music Died. (Oh, bonus fact: WAYLON WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THAT PLANE... but he gave up his seat (depending on who's telling the story) to either The Big Bopper or Ritchie Valens... on a coin toss.)
Nice to see a Clyde reference
Waylon sure done a number on these songs!
Great.thank you . Have a great weekend
He was named Waylon because he was Way better than most.
