I listened to this record at least 1000 times and this was my favorite track. This was my favorite line up. I was 19 years old and felt sophisticated listening to it :)

This record and Orange Album-wow; Jeff my fav rock guitarist; he reached deeper than most and spilled it on the vinyl w/that fab technique.

I had the extreme honor of interviewing Jeff Beck several years ago. He was quite generous w/ his time and opinions. What surprised me most was the fact he didn't like this album at all. Strange that; I still think it's one of his best ever

Zanichbug Was he referring to the show that he did at 'Ronnie Scott's', or to the album, 'Rough And Ready'? Fortunately...WE fans can listen to & appreciate both performances, even MORESO than before I read your comment. I’d still like to know to which performance he would rather NOT have done.🤷🏻‍♂️ A FANTASTIC album, this.

Nice: I’m not surprised that he wasn’t fond of it because IMO Jeff has been his own worst enemy and like Neil Young, if he’s not digging a scene he’s “Outie”..
I liked the ensemble of Bobby Tench, Cozy Powell, Max Middleton and for me his weaker band was Beck, Bogart and Appice (sp) .... As Great as Jeff is , he’s been very up front about his love and value of a STRONG VOCALIST.

Wow. It's my favorite of all the stuff by him that I've heard.
