Jeff Beck - Gets Us All In The End Lyrics
It gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Loves so hard it gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Love's so hard it gets us all in the end
Whoa, whoa, whoa
I feel so out of place
Could it be I can't hide this look on my face
One step turns into two
Your so hung up from what you do
I don't care you can do what you do
Love is the shining light that sees us through
Where all of us stand love makes it demands
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
It gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Love's so hard it gets us all in the end
Whoa, whoa
You think we should be free
But we won't get there by trying to be
Let the chips fall where they may
You can leave you don't have to stay
Even though love's hope is slight
We find the strength to keep fighting back
Inside of this shrine with nothing in time
We all understand love makes its demands
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
It gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Love's so hard it gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Love's so hard it gets us all in the end
Whoa, whoa
Yeah
It gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Love's so hard it gets us all in the end
It gets us all in the end
Baby it gets us all in the end
Love's so hard sometimes
Whoa, whoa

Jeff Beck Gets Us All In The End Comments
I think Jeff Beck is a better guitar player than Jimi Hendrix but not a better songwriter
Blistering fret work here from the best in the business !
Thanks Nigel Tuffnel.... so 80's
I wonder why this album by Jeff is so underrated ? I always got the feeling Jeff did not really liked it himself very much.
One of my fav tracks from Jeff. As a metalhead I love this tune very much ohhh shit it's so fantastic!!!!
Here appears one of the best solos that I ever heard!!!
P.S. I am grown up now!!! And now I love Eric Clapton and Keith Richards and Jimmy Page!!! I appreciate them for their artistic contribution for Blues and Rock n Roll in general!!!)😇😁☺ Jeff Beck rules !!! And so does Jimmi Hendrix!!! God Bless!!!
This is the tune that introduced me to the world of Jeff Beck!!! I was 14 years old at the time!!! I was into Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoads and Angus Young as far as liking guitar players go!!! I thought Jeff Beck was an old overrated fart like Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Jimmy Page!!! Man was I so wrong!!! This tune blew me away!!! I have liked Jeff Beck ever since!!! He is one of those players that keeps evolving and changing to suit his artistic mood!!! He keeps pushing boundaries at what can be done on a Fender Strat!!! ☺☺☺ Well back then when he made the "Flash" album he played on Charvel/Jackson soloist guitars!!! That's what made me like and dream of owning a Jackson guitar!!!
Having a nervous breakdown.
Lead Vocals : JIMMY HALL !!!
Incredible song. Disco Metal. Still holds-up today.
The singer sounds similar to Gil Moore, drummer and also vocalist of Triumph. I have this LP, bought it when it came out, the whole record blew me away.
The Man, enough said.
Excelente!! El mejor álbum. Increíble sonido
the definition of genius............... he has the pure white lite flowing thru him . & he gives it all back to the people....
the definition of Genius. the white light just pours thru him & he gives it all back to the people.
The dynamics at around 14 seconds coming off that whammy squeal....that impresses me more than the shredding...which is impressive....lol
Djävligt go låt...kommer i håg den från mitten av 80talet..
At 3:55: you can tell it's Jeff Beck on guitar. Great song. Cheers to the last man standing.
At 0:01, you can tell it's Jeff Beck on guitar. WTF.
Bob Schneider haha true. The whole thing is him.
My all time favourite guitar fade out. Absolutely mind bending fret and tremelo work
such an 80's sound, love the guitar but thats it
Bob Kelly Love Jeff Beck....but agree it’s so 80s Miami Vice including the jacket.
What a ripper. Fkin awesome
The first time, I played this song, on album, I couldn't stop playing it, it's wonderful.
JB knows how to do power and beautiful, the master..
This is the song that introduced me to Jeff Beck! At that time, I was listening to Van Halen and Ozzy Osbourne and AC/DC and Scorpions. I was 14 years old in 85. I thought Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton were old geezers and overated! Man was I wrong. This song blew me away!!! I was like "holy shit, this guy can give Eddie Van Halen a run for his money!!!! I think Jeff Beck was in his forties at the time! Jeff Beck is like the quessential lead guitarist!!! pushing boundaries of what the guitar can do!!! and being a musical inovator!!!😊😊😊
michael bujanda same here dude I was 15 years old in 85
hi is a genieus on guitar and you repey right
Totally agree..
a big Wet Willy from Jeff..
I see what you did there. 😄
Amazing Song!
nice song..
Wicked guitar work. The guy was and still is brilliant. A real powerhouse. Also, some great vocals that should not go unnoticed.
Is this song about taking a shower in prison?
+Rory Teal ...........You've been there I assume?
+Danny Webster county jail
Rory knows from experience.
that's funny.
LOL. Good one, Rory!! 😂
go jeff, whack that thing.but, my name is 'jonni'.an artist. savvy you blind dogs, pigs, all of ye. zombies.
The best, I had it when this came out and all my purist friends didn't get it. Jeff always was ahead of the times, he is a true force and is still a living legend. Don't forget it people:) Peace
Just heard this on Real XS radio and had to find out who it was.Never in a million years would have guessed it was Jeff Beck!Brilliant!
+metalbearuk Actually the rest of this CD (cassette) stunk...Nile Rodgers produced it and he cant get his ass out of the Disco era. Anyway, Becks' best would be "Blow By Blow", "Wired" and "There And Back"......trust me the aforementioned are brilliant.
Got this when it came out. This is my favorite song intro of all time......Jeff just completely tearing it up!!!! The man is a legend and has never rested on his laurels.Still on the cutting edge to this day.
in deeeee-da-leeee-da-deeee-da-leee-dooooooo
One dislike - it's always the same with those Eric Clapton fans, lol
I'm no musician, I play electric guitar making only noise, Jeff plays a superb loud guitar noise, Eric plays like my little sister with ten on her acoustic guitar...when Eric played Cream, his noise was as huge as Hendrix...the king of guitar noise...
politics is also pro and contra, pro Bush, contra Bush, pro Castro, contra Castro, I'm pro Winger, I'm contra Metallica, I do not need to love both...the Clapton fans explain to me why Eric is god...for me it is Hendrix...but I do not try to brainwash Clapton fans as they do with me...live and let live...says the old Prussian king...and he is right
Quite rightly so." Jeder soll auf seiner Façon selig werden" Frederick the Great of Prussia.
For the English speaking people : " anyone has to accomplish his own way to do (it) well."
By the way, I"m Dutch and proud ☺
The irony being that Eric is an admirer of Jeff and vice versa .
@TheHumbuckerboy Eric has acknowledged: he's not in Beck's league.
Jeff Beck makes Eddie Van Halen sweating in the night - it's the feedback playing, Eddie, just listen to the "Chef", it's Jeff
WTF is this?
THIS IS JEFF BECKS BEST ALBUM AND BEST SONG
+Mike Rundberg Mike it is not is best album and really not his best song. His best album was "There And Back".........and for an ass kicking song I would have to say "Space Boogie" from There and Back. Although "Situation" from Jeff Beck Group LP "Rough And Ready" deserves HIGH MARKS.
im sorry but those songs dont compare to this
Best Album = Rough and Ready.
love JB, but this may be his worst album ever. nile rogers, it's all your fault!!
Joey Nash lol
best ever if you like cheesy, contrived songs.
cheesy? You want cheesy, go listen to blow by blow and wired....yeah they get the hype for good reason, but they sound like porn soundtrack music. Totally dated.
This sounds overly 80's for sure...but no less cheesy than those albums.
It's simply...you like that stuff better because you simply like it better. Some people like this better. Nobody is right. It's music. It's just an opinion.
Ndaddy if you dont like it why are you here
Least favorite, favorite = Rough and Ready.
beck is amazing!
Jeff Beck! Powerful and as usual unbelieveable on guitar!
this is when Jeff used his Jackson.
throughout this entire Album he used it.
+General Ustino Bradley Hall Really he used his Strat. He ditched his Les Paul after Blow by Blow.
And on Tina Turner's Private Dancer album.
Sorry, this is not Jeff's stratocaster but the guitar with the Floyd Ros bridge (maybe he used Jackson) you hear a clear fluter...
Great album, great production.
The Best Jeff Beck Song Ever ! I love the Wild Solo !!!
AMAZING GREAT FUCKIN AWESOME POWERFUL UNBELIEVABLE ONE IN A MILLION KILLER SONG, NOTHIN LIKE THIS....JEFF, YOU GETS US ALL IN THE FUCKIN END......!!!!!!!!!! THE GUITAR IS ON FIRE!!!!!!! YEAH JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!!
FOR FUCKIN EVER.....!!!!!!!!
I had forgot about this rocky belter, not heard heard it for ages.
the dj on wwct 106 peoria said this is jeff beck getting electrocuted by his toaster, my introduction to this most awesome display of guitar excellence.
Or his guitar having a nervous breakdown in a good way.
Can still remember the day my eldest brother sat me down in front of his Linn Sondek between the Twin Wharfdales and blew me to fuck with this track.....ahhh Vinyl
Agree. The guitar solo is a tour de force.
