You put too much soy sauce on the fish and even rice...dude wtf. The fish is already cooked with teriyaki sauce so either you're supposed to eat it with daikon radish or only need a few drops of soy sauce to add flavor.

i love this video so much.. ive always wanted to visit japan thats literally the only place i wanna go.. when im older i want a house thats pretty much a replica of a japanese house, like the doors bathrooms, kitchen everything. i even bought japanese kitchen utensils cause im just obsessed with japan! my all time favorite country and im from NZ!!

Enjoyed the video with the glaring exception of the stereotypical-sounding so-called "Oriental" music filler on repetitive loop. Overall, it was very distracting in terms of editing rather than its suggested intent of creating a subtle continuous flow.

Way too much soy sauce ...not even needed on many foods picked. Sodium over-load. Salted fish was a mackerel.

the way he drowns everything in soy sauce is so cringe. imagine a tourist in america covering everything in spoonfuls of ketchup. that much cringe. some of those things are highly salted side dishes meant to be eaten with lots of rice, but he eats them plain (and worse, swimming in soy). this is like eating condiments.

It was hard to watch, almost like a barbarian, wished he would more appreciate the delicate flavours of the ingredients and did just 5 seconds of research how to eat proper.

Amazing almost every sentence contradicted itself 3 times, which somehow managed to contradict all of the next sentence...ect. Very well uninformed, to make it sound informed somehow? And all the first day in Japan you sound so seasoned. These buildings are really high 500-1000ft...then settle on 750...nice. It bothers me too and I'm european, please don't think all of us westeners are like him. Japanese food is the best because the taste is so delicate, I even never add soysauce because every ingredient is so tasty as it is^^

What a great Japanese breakfast; me being semi-ignorant, when it comes to Asian food, I love it but sometimes one cannot tell the difference between a breakfast and (a) lunch/dinner......that said, I always skip breakfast :)

The chewy ball you ate is called konnyaku which is made from "konnyaku potato" Oden - Japanese fish cake stew is the perfect dish especially in winter time. It's so popular you can get it from
