to 1 in a hundred? It is a metaphor for "very small", "unimportant" etc.

This IS the "definitive" version as this was a live recording on the XXX record label back in 1987. They (as far as I know) never released a demo or studio version of this song. "Jane Says" & "Pigs In Zen" both were re-recorded for their major label debut, "Nothing's Shocking".

it meant something very different in 1987. though I think there's a similar sentiment to the state of the world today.

the reason alot of people dont find this is because they dont type 1%...they type one percent instead
