We never kneel 'on' the images of the saints. We kneel because that is the way we pray, a symbol of humility before God. I know that you see always that we, Catholics, kneel 'before' the images of the saints, it doesn't mean that we worship them. If you only set aside all your prejudgments, and lovingly understand the prayers then you will understand why we kneel. To wipe the saints' images is not a sign of idolatry. It is a sign of faith in God that persons behind the images are truly present.

If I were a (Catholic) saint, I will allow nobody to glorify me because I am not God. They can venerate me, if they want, not as I am but my deeds inspired by God, that lead them to glorify God. If you were a saint, even not a Catholic, I believe that you will do the same, right? Questions are made to know the 'Truth' and never should be to 'test' other people, please be reminded my dear.

Vatican is not only ours, it's for you as well but you failed to recognize Vatican as yours because of your simple (sorry for the term I used) biases. Biases that hinder you to know the 'Truth.' If you only open your mind and heart, set aside all your prejudgments, then you will understand the things that made you confused.

We, Roman Catholics, are not being laughed at by other people, except for those who are ignorant about the "Truth." You are right in saying that God says that 1st commandment. There is no wrong with that. However, don't you know that the Ten (10) Commandments in the Old Testament became Two (2)-fold Commandments in the New Testament? Don't you know that God Himself, in the Old Testament, asked Moses to make an "image"? It simply and clearly means that not all images are idols. And all our images, in the Roman Catholic are not idols. We never worship any other gods. We venerate saints but never worship them.

call the Blessed mother Mary, the mother of the living God and she will teach you how to pray. She is not dead she is alive in heaven.
