Truth is, it's exactly how I felt right after my 2 year relationship. Finally realized he left me for someone else, so then I tried to move on, after crying for about 4 or 5 months straight, and then just always depressed for about a year. I tried moving on, with this one guy, but he was a waste of my time, although he loved me, and I liked him a lot at the time, (wasn't together long enough to know if I truly loved him) he was a bum. Didn't care about anything besides sitting around smoking pot all day. So I had to leave him 3 months later; and through him and I dating, I still missed the first guy.. My first love. After all that I honestly didn't want to even THINK about a relationship and so I only talked to guys as friends, wasn't looking for anything more than a friendship. Then... There was this guy who added me on facebook, and I thought he was cute so I accepted his request and saw he lived in a city near me (don't EVER add someone you don't know btw!) but this guy I added, turned out to be the one guy I was looking for.. He has turned out to be all that I wanted, all that I need. He loves me as I am and doesn't want me to change for anyone. I've already done so much in these past 3 months for him to leave me; and he chooses to stay. This boy, he is the most caring, sweet, funny, and crazy guy I know. Him and I have so much in common, and I honestly love him!

Moral of this story... If you have gone through a breakup, and have been together either 2 months, or 7 years. With time, everything gets better. I know you don't want to hear that "time heals" B.S. and to be quite honest, I didn't want to hear it either, I mean I was in tears everywhere I was for about 5 months straight, and moping around for an entire year, but honestly, time is the best thing you can wait for. Don't wait for them to come back, because once you get your hopes up, and if that person gets your hopes up, you're just going to be let down again. It's not worth it. With me, I tried to stop looking through pictures, playing old songs, and honestly, it started helping. He broke up with me September of 2016. I am sitting here today not even shedding a tear anymore, in October of 2017, because I have the best boyfriend I've ever had, NOW. Although it took me a year, I got through it with the support of my family being very kind to me and doing things with me to get my mind off of it, as well as friends doing the same. Whoever you are, and if you've read this whole thing, I love you sweetheart, and you'll get through whatever this is you're going through, I promise.
