I'm guess I'm in the minority that likes the second half of the song better than the first. Honestly the beginning sounds like everything else he's done already, there's plenty of songs to pick from that sound similar if you're a fan, but that beat drop and switch up with the 80s rave vibe is fucking sick to me.

Dude yes I 100% with your reply! This sounds stupid but i'm listening to this song for the first time with headphones and it's alot easier to pay attention to the details in the production, which really helps me appreciate the track more. Might take a few more listens to fully grasp its flavor but I think I'm getting there.

appreciate music for what it is. This is certainly unique and inventive in style. It's not groundbreaking, but it's good ol fashion music. It's music for music, which i appreciate more than music that tries to be all hip and new. I also LOVE this, I'm hooked!

Digital Lion was quite the grower for me. Thought it was a little repetitive and meandered a bit at first, but now I'm loving every second; it's now my favorite of the three. Different strokes for different folks I guess. But I'd definitely give the more experimental songs more time to sink in -- James Blake tends to make it worth your while!

I'm not sure that judging the tension-release structure he uses here in comparison to Retrograde and The Wilhelm Scream is fair--it's a different kind of song. To me this is much more a dance track/house than anything else, and it's great as that.

Out of the three songs I've heard off Overgrown so far, Retrograde is by far the best one. Digital Lion and Voyeur haven't "hit" me yet, I guess. Still interested in hearing Overgrown but now I'm hesitant to pre-order it.

hmmm i think this one needs to sink in a bit for me. it's a good idea ad i'm sure after the album comes out it will grow on me into a good track but nowhere near the genius of I Never Learnt To Share, The Wilhelm Scream, I Mind etc.

Ummm a bit disappointed with this one. Too linear to my liking, I'm still in love with the lad though, he's a chemist.
