Their entire early sound was a mixture of Punk Rock and Mod. The genre they invented was called Mod Revival

But it was only for their first album. They changed sounds again quite quickly

Batman is the best comic character ever. My mum has this LP at home I think I'm gonna have to play it, I this should be the actual theme tune. :) I love the Jam born in the 90's but I think should have been around in the 70's and 80's.

I would think Batman would listen to classical music, depressing shit or deep shit, but maybe he'd have some suprises in there....I'd kind of hope for him to be into some soul or hip-hop, though.
