Jam, The - A Solid Bond In Your Heart Lyrics
Feel is a word I can't explain
At least not in words that are plain
Make it easy to express
But I'll try to do my best
To hit you where it counts
A solid bond in your heart
(Yeah) A solid bond in your heart (Aha)
I'm fuelled by the idea
That this world was made to share
But it never seems to work out
And all we seem to share
Is doubt and misery
Please let me try to build
A solid bond in your heart heart
Aah, I just want to build up
A solid bond in your heart heart
It's what's missing from this life
And the trust you need to ignite
Any dream worth holding dear
When that dream is so near
You gotta try and try to get it back
Push it to the limit and build
A solid bond in your heart

Jam, The A Solid Bond In Your Heart Comments
truthfully i like this version way better
AKA the best version
A true prime piece of Jam!!
Has all the characteristics of a typical late 1960's British single, Love Affair, Amen Corner etc

And your heart begins to blow
Keep it in mind to
Keep on trying

Gracias. Muy buena compilación de imágenes de uno de los mejores grupos ingleses que jamás haya existido. MODS!
Great song. Great pics and video!
Weller was giving the other two an indication what direction he was going after splitting the Jam.
And I'm under the impression the other two are playing on this record and playing rather well I will add. Weller is the writing talent so he can do as he pleases and that should be understood. 'Groovy Jam' however, succeeded with Foxton and Buckler just as early SC could have. Just add Mick and they would have been off. Rumor has it that Weller nicked Buckler's cowbell for the Council version so I'll go back and compare. Dig that gent blowin' bass and that mullet of his...
@matthew stetson I think it´s very clear when comparing the two versions that Foxton and Buckler were not up to snuff when it came to realizing Weller´s vision at this point. It would still have been absoloutly brilliant but not the result that Weller was going for.
Brilliant song.Love the Jam version and the Council version.
Una de las mejores canciones que ha existido
Great fuckin' band.
Un anormal te puso ''no me gusta'', solamente eso, un anormal jajaja un abrazo Fran!
