I was a late comer to Jackson Browne say 2007 or so, years after The Pretender. Later noticed this one to feed my Mexican Mariachi appetite... Sort of like a better Taco Bell taco instead of a traditional TEX-MEX Taco or for that matter, a Mexico/Texas boarder town vender's cuisine. Browne'v vocal holds true on this one.

not to dilute these completely appropriate praises for this song at all...BUT there is a live version of this with Jackson and David Lindley on YouTube that will stand up close to this version I highly recommend. Ese estilo de harpa es 100% guarania por donde se lo escuche. La canción está acreditada con estilo mariachi pero nadie me va a contradecir que el sonido y estilo de esa harpa es guarania. Habría que investigar más sobre esta canción.

OMG this song is great. Remember this album from growing up. My Mom's had this and Linda Ronstadt album with "Blue Bayou" on it. I remember those were probably the only non-Mexican albums. love this album.
