@Logic1914 LOL I don't care what you saw. LISTEN.. USE YOUR EARS... that is CLEARLY not Jermaine's voice at the beginning of the song. The voice is MUCH thinner. If we use your logic, then we should assume that Marlon sang Jermaine's parts when they lip synced on TV after Jermaine left the group because we saw Marlon mouthing parts at a microphone. NOT the case. Someone else on this thread saw the perform it as well, and commented on the fact that all of them sang.

@megavega4 I saw this performed and I can CLEARLY recall who sang lead. IT was Jermaine and NOT Marlon. It ain't about being a fan. It ain't about hearing the difference in their voices. It ain't about none of that.

It is about recalling what I saw with MY OWN two eyes. It begins and ends right there. Now THAT is a fact.

Jermaine ONLY sings the last verse.. starting with "Ooh baby.. look at me.... etc" and continues with the ad libs. Take a closer listen before you state something as fact.

This is Jermaine Jackson singing the lead on this particular song. Jackie Jackson does not sing lead on this song at all.

@kevc21 No.. this is NOT Marlon on the front lead. It's all 5 of them, singing in their natural voices... You can tell Marlon's voice.. it sounds like a rougher more raw version of Jermaine's voice. The order is Tito.. Jackie.. Michael.. Marlon and Jermaine.. Take another listen...

Yes, Micheal was the biggest light shining in the group but I have to say when I was little Jermaine was my favorite and the cutest. He definetly could sing, I still have their Christmas Album and his songs were my favorite on the album, well Michael did have "Give Love On Christmas Day" over him...lol . He later cut some songs with Whitney that were beautiful songs as well as some of his singles.

@megavega4 they were on tv late during the middle of the week, so it mustve been the tonight show. the only reason i remember it is because when it started, you saw tito singing and that was rare. and as someone said before, if you listen closely you can hear the minor differences. oh, it was you that said it

@MJsrealwife3 Sorry to correct you.. but it's ALL the brothers.. singing in their natural voices. We're so used to hearing Tito singing bass and Jackie singing falsetto that it's hard to tell them apart when they sing in their natural registers. But the order goes.. Tito.. Jackie.. Michael.. Marlon.. Jermaine.. who ends the song with the ad libs. At times.. Marlon sounds a bit like Jermaine, but if you listen closely you can tell.

Jermaine always had a great voice and when he traded vocals with Michael the combination was a winner which is what made the Jackson brothers a hot group. Jeramine was a better ballad singer than an uptempo singer. One song that was hot though I have to admit was "Let's Get Serious" with Stevie Wonder helping out in the background.

yes i hate when poeple side slide the jackson brothers...yes we all know Micheal Jackson was the biggest..it was the jackson brotehr that help creat micheal jackson...like the brother or not..Jermaine had a nice voice all the brothers did..it sad!

I've ALWAYS loved this song. No doubt that Michael and Jermaine had the best voices... but this is proof that the other 3 brothers could actually sing. And those HARMONIES .... SWEET !! Classic 70's R&B...They don't make em like this anymore....
