I know Jackie Wilson is a legend ,he has put out some great songs,But this song is a Ballad ,not a Blues,Soul,or a Rock song..This song does not suit his voice or his style of singing..Lonely Teardrops,now there's a song that suits him..Sorry people but thays how i feel
about these old songs,Yous need to hear it sung with harmony..

Unbelievable that one can still enjoy music that dates back to 1929, I'm not surprised because Jackie Wilson's voice is immortal and although the background music is a bit "dated"I can't but enjoy the magic of this song. Thanks so much for sharing with us, love, love this man.

I was speaking of the song he was singing "I'll always be in Love with You" I've heard many artists sing it, Ella Fitzgerald, Brenda Lee, Michael Holliday, even Fred Waring's Band going back to 1929. They were all up-temple versions. This is the first time I've heard the song sung as a slow ballad, backed by strings. It's quite different, and I find it quite nice. P.S. I just listened to the song you mentioned," I know I'll always be in love with you" by J. W. I never heard that song before.
