For me, this is, was Jackie's best performance. At the age of 10, 11? Come- on! Like the art she stands among in that room....she shines bright as a star going nova. So pure and angelic.

I heard Jackie sing Ombra Mai Fu live in concert in 2019 at 19 years old. She was spectacular! Her voice has been well preserved. There is nothing a 'singing teacher' could have taught her. Jackie was better than any 'singing teacher' ever would hope to be by the time Jackie was 11 years old.

RD, when did she sing Ombra Mai Fu? Would love to hear her sing OMF again.

@Brad K Either Indio or Waukegan, can't remember exactly which one. I suspect we won't be hearing it again for a while with her adding all the new 'Debut' songs. Maybe where she has a full orchestra, but other than that she's getting too many other types of songs she wants to fit in.

Here voice has been well taken care of and it is better than ever with 8 consecutive albums to hit #1 on the Billboard Classical chart, most recently "The Debut", songs from Broadway and film musicals. You're either not paying attention or trying to mislead viewers.

Good to see it back at YouTube. Too much of the fine work she has done was taken off YT by SME because of marketing issues (money). Not too long ago, SME's Mark Johnston published a JE bio that was well done BUT had an error that needed to be corrected. It said she sung for the Pope but she never did. She did sing four songs in the preprogramming for the event. I doubt Pope Francis knows who she is or what he is missing. I sent an email to Mark expressing this fact along with critiquing the lack of support both he and Foster was giving to Jack. I'm not sure where Foster resides in the food chain. At one point, he and Jack was managed by Johnston. Non the less, there has been great improvements with the the amount of material returning to YouTube and projects sponsored by SME on behalf of Jack ( Jackie Evancho). During the past years, I expressed the need for her to emote more emotion suggesting taking basic dancing and mixed martial arts lessons. During several video uploads, she had exhibited a unique skill to express herself while singing. Much of it was in a car sitting on her butt singing and expressing herself. She called it dancing. No more sitting. Recently 4-23-19, she was at a dinner club Feinstein's/54 Below rocking to the Queens' song "Somebody to Love". She emoted great emotion moving her body around as if she has been doing it for many years. The performance was outstanding. She expressed concern about why youth and zombies well up in to middle age haven't been supporting the massive amount of work she has done to date. Since she is the best singer in the world, it's not how she sings BUT what she sings. I've written much about this during recent years. Find it. An upbeat to light rock song is easy to do. "Somebody to Love" is an example of this. In this world, the percussionist is the most important musician. The others are equal in importance. Details of the song's arrangement is very important. The song STL is an example of how to approach an arrangement. Keep it SIMPLE but hit on components that make it interesting. Never forget the importance of ATTENTION TO DETAILS regarding the presentation. A master of self promotion, the rapper Pitbull commented ANY song has to make its mark in the first 6 seconds it begins to play. Because of the way music is marketed, when a potential purchaser isn't enticed to listen further to the song he is sampling, he will go on to something else. Usually rhythm, can't establish much in 6 seconds. Percussion, bass and rarely voice when arranged properly can get the job done. A great song can be created from almost any theme or words. I've been using the words ROCK, ROCKER and ROCKING recently. Imagine Jack belting out "HELL~I want to rock with you" at the beginning of a song. With adequate support from the arrangement (musicians) the 6 second rule will be achieved. Repeating phrases rhythmically like is done on STL, it should be looked at as a standard technique used in developing lyrics. The words you, sing, rock, love along with many others are good candidates for repeating. Do remember, rhythm is ALL important to youth and middle age potential music purchasers. Things come and things go. Nothing stands still. All this is beyond our grasp as she's dancing into the light. I haven't taken my eyes off her bright light and therefore her light is still bright. I don't expect that it will ever shine more brightly but neither will it diminish. Steady as she goes.

Oh, and David Foster, aka your music dad, has written some great songs over the years...some of my favorites even before you worked with him. Do you know St. Elmo's Fire theme song? Beautiful performance, Jackie! I'm hoping you also post your DWMIC performance of "Lovers". It was my first exposure to your singing talent. "Dark Waltz" was my second, and "Pie Jesu" on AGT was my thrid. All so stunning. After that, I checked for all your videos on YT, and then bought your CDs and DVDs. Posting such great work again will allow others to experience your talent, and encourage them to buy your albums and go to your concerts.

DWMIC should be preserved for future generations in the Smithsonian. It was equivalent to a gymnast scoring all 10's in every event in the Olympics. Some of her performances, like this one, were beyond 10's; beyond perfect, indescribable. The beautiful voice, the beautiful music, the beautiful girl, the beautiful room surrounded by incredible works of art - all work together to make watching this an ethereal experience.

Albert Einstein was right, there is only something bigger than the universe !, and it's ... the human stupidity !!! What were the directors of SONY and the family of jackie thinking when they allowed is it to erase not only jackie's videos but "jackie's musical life"? ; the most watched videos of jackie were deleted between 5 and 7 years ago,from then on the consumption of internet and youtube has been massified by 10 !, videos of Jackie, who had 7, 8 or even more than 10 million, many They should to have more than 50 million to date! and with that jackie would be recognized throughout the world!!,It is true... Finally someone who understands. They don't take down anyone else's videos repeatedly, to keep people from enjoying them & boosting views into mega-millions. In Jackie's case, it's been constant since 2010. Removing, reposting, removing again, etc. Her resulting low Views #s look pathetic compared to the age of performances & her dynamic perfection. It seems she's being encouraged to sing Pop. Not sure what level of success she's receiving, but I doubt it's overwhelming. Most likely just meh. I never catch her on the radio or XM with her Pop Genre. Classical Music needs her back & I hope she understands that's where her talent is destined.

Ideally she needs to get a piano player as good as Conrade Tao do really do it full bore though, although even without that, Jackie is incredible.
