Iwrestledabearonce - Your God Is Too Small Lyrics

When I was young I was taught God.
They equated their fear with a real love.
In time the dissonance becomes believable.
It is a constant reminder
That it grows.
My whole life.
A toxic shadow stays with me at the seams.
And I know it's insidious.
In the light still the outline stays with me at the seams.
And I know it's insidious.
You're fear is not enough.
It's cheap and it's meaningless.
The doubt has cast a shadow. Eroding my mind.
They treat it like a sickness.
They fear I am not contagious.
Realize your God is too small.
See the outline grow.
The flower is in bloom.
I see it underneath. A shadow sings to me that it grows.
My whole life. A toxic shadow stays with me at the seams.
And I know it's insidious.
In the light still the outline stays with me at the seams.
And I know it's insidious.
Rip out all the seams. Let it breathe.
Fear is not the same thing.
Your God is too small.
There's blood on the pages, right where his name is.

    this is pure bullshit

  2. BUCK the FLAYED

Goddamn I miss IWABO. One of my all time favorite bands

    NiflheimMists

Check out Spiritbox. New band with the vocalist and guitarist from IWABO.

  3. LessOfMyselfToKill

Give SPIRITBOX a listen if you love Courtney as much as I do! It,s Her and Mike's project and it's fucking amazing!

  4. Candace Lee

It’s funny most say if you feel it in your heart 😏 i feel it from my eyes

  5. Rodrigo Regalado

Me encanta la combinacion con voces limpias la amo

  6. AxUnderground official

i love Courtney's voice but it rings an aesthetic uniquely different from the IWABO i fell in love with. Krysta should've kept IWABO but oh well XP Band's still just as amazing as ever, just kinda not the same #darwin

  7. EPikSl33pWaLk3R

It's a mystery to me why this doesn't even have 30k views yet and only 300 likes in two years?! But some videos mostly that new age rap stuff has over 10 million views, which doesn't stimulate anything above or below the belt. I long for the day that metal music overtakes rap and people wake up to what real music is. Until then I will be lost in confusion.

  8. Death caps

i love her voice and the contrast. dam good song.

  9. RoseOfHizaki

She should do more clean vocals. she has a beautiful voice.

    MetalTimmy

RoseOfHizaki if you listen to her last band it's mostly stuff like this. Unicron is the name

    Koolkid 662plus4

She does have a really nice voice but i feel she didn’t really use her cleans to their fullest. A decent lot of the time they felt too monotonous to really interested- she shouldve tried to vary her cleans just a little bit. Kyrsta Cameron was really good at keeping her cleans as interesting as her harsh vocals in earlier IWABO material

    Jeff Arnold

Check out Spiritbox its her new band. The mara effect songs are incredible. Really all of their songs are.

  10. butters226

  28. James Bedford

But it was fantastic and heavy as fuck

  29. James Bedford

The ending to the song sounded like periphery's last song on album no 2

    RED VELVET 벨벳

I'd say the breakdown in Sellout by Chelsea Grin resembles Masamune more, but I see where you're coming from dood:)

  30. charlie walton

album of the year so far for me 10/10 the band was dying in my opinion to now be resurrected, just like to point out this track sounds like courtney's old band unicron.
