Ives, Burl - Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Lyrics
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history

oh it's already half a year 2019
Great version ! The assholes on YouTube yanked the actual movie due to “bullying”....More evidence of planetary pussifacation.
I know, can you believe it? Even some TV stations pulled the show for the same reason. Purely ridiculous!
the sun will fry your phone in that place...this is a joke
I don't know what you mean.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to
you all
I hope yours was happy, too. And happy new year!!
With all these idiots jumping on holiday classic songs and holiday movies don't be surprised if this one isn't on some do-do brains hit list to complain about. People are already bad mouthing Rudolf the red nosed reindeer stating it promotes bullying and is sexist because one of the female wife reindeer ask her husband could she go help search for their "CHILD" poor Rudolf and hubby's reply was "No this is man's work" and now dumb asses are all upset. No commonsense no back bone - him saying no you can't come has nothing remotely to do with sexism. It was his way of saying "No dear we might get into a scary hairy situation that neither of us will be able to get the other out of." Plain and simple. It's always a few idiots who don't care to comprehend the true meaning of a story and wasn't even written to be hurtful or harmful. Those stories like Rudolf and this timeless classic "A Christmas Carol that aid in one's growing up mentally and emotionally. Trust me there’s a group out there right now probably looking at "Frosty the snowman" for something wrong. I’m surprised no one’s trying to ban “The Grinch who stole Christmas.”
I did some research on this - Since reindeer shed their antlers at different points of the year based on their sex and age, we know that Santa’s reindeer probably aren't older males, because older male reindeer lose their antlers in December and Christmas reindeer are always depicted with their antlers. That means Santa’s sled either has to be pulled by young reindeer, constantly replaced as they start to age, or Santa’s reindeer are female. Now do you want to imagine a rotating crop of sleigh pullers or an all-female lineup? This choice is completely and entirely up to you.
It's completely ridiculous. These classics will stand the test of time, I hope.
I'm not related to Burl
I'm related to Rudolph 😁😁😁
I swear Burl Ives had the voice that felt most synonymous with Santa Claus, yet they never had him voice Santa, so far as I know. Talk about golden opportunity wasted. It's like not having Morgan Freeman voice/portray God at least once.
2018 is ending and 2019 will soon be beginning. Cheers for a new year ! 👏🍾
My Grandfather grew up in Newton Illinois where he new Burl Ives. He was a few years older than my Grandfather.

Burl Ives wrote this song, about how a deer with a red light would lead the world to a better life. Burl wrote this when he was advocating for a red world,
where there was jobs for all, peace with Russia & China, homes for everyone, food, education was free, where women could have equal rights, and peace.
Burl was a member of the communist party when he wrote this red song, advocating for a socialist world.

Burl Ives didn't write this. He didn't even come up with Rudolph. Idiot.
Um, no. Johnny Marks wrote this song based on the book. And, he fervently denied being a Communist. Think before you spread lies like this.
Love the guitar.
I love the holidays sooo much.
So do i
Best version of Rudolph ever!
I completely agree. My 2nd favorite is John Denver's version.
Burl Ives is my great great cusin
Me too!
Burl Ives is my great great singer
Ok burwick
OMG really that's so awesome
My Dad always reminded us that Burl Ives used to visit my Great Grandmother's farm in Danbury, Conn. and sing to all the kids. She raised 23 children and I am sure she was very glad to see Mr. Ives show up and give her a few minutes of peace :)
What a cherished memory!
Wonderful! Happy Holidays!!!
Happy Holidays 2016!
Con nostalgia es grato recordar la música de los Especiales Navideños que transmitían en Canal 3 de Guatemala, en la época de mi niñez. Excelente.
