I think I finally found a name for this new fusion genre that Issues has single handily started with songs like this, I mean pop metal, jazz/fusion metal, and even "soul metal" sound too ambiguous, and "RnB metal" and "progressive pop metal" just sounds stupid, and "yacht metal" sounds a bit too gimmicky even though this stuff does have a slightly heavier yacht rock feel at times..........why not call this new style blue-eyed metal? In the same way that you have "blue-eyed soul" groups like Hall & Oates, etc.

@bmsoundtrack wasn't my intention. They are super talented musicians and no doubt thier music is very popular. I'm just a little old school that likes bands like Thrice, Alter Bridge and old Emarosa is probably the most mainstream bands I listen to. But full respect to these guys as I said they are awesome musicians and can see this type on music is becoming more popular.
