Everyone talks about the singers, but the drums and programming by Brian Southall (from Boys Night Out and, my personal favorite, TREOS) are what make this band. Otherwise it would just be a bunch of icing with no cake.

This was made almost 4 years ago. Jonny has significantly cleaned up his act since this. He isn't perfect, and he never will be. Although, no one ever will be perfect. Neither of us knows what is going on in his life. Please don't beat people up over their past. It gives them no reason to change.

Trenton's voice is so distinctive even though he still follows that R&B vocal technique. It reminds me of Bert McCracken from the Used except Trenton's skills are way better developed. Same tone, different technique/style. So clean though. Probably my favorite voice in rock genres.

Trenton, Jonny Craig, Tyler Carter go all in at the bridge, but it's so hard to decipher who's who unless you're a hardcore fan of them all. Which makes it almost a pointless mix. Still sounds awesome, but you could get the same results without Tyler Carter in there and it would sound slightly less nasally; in my book, better. Tyler still has a great voice, but compared to how pure and dark Trenton and Jonny's vocals are vs TC's brighter vocals, my preferences would exclude Tyler every time if I had to pick 2 out of 3.

Torn? I gotta hear it. I'm still listening to HLH 2012 album Ground Dweller. Haven't even heard anything newer really yet.
