Isakov, Gregory Alan - Master And A Hound Lyrics

Where were you when I was still kind
Just a water treader
Waiting on the line
Just a dry gin drinker

Master and a hound
Turned a circus swinger
Look, he’s coming down…
Down

Can you shake it up
Just once for me
Your little globe just so we can see
The snow blowing round your hands

And the wing-nut turned
The song that we both know
Sent us flying round the carnival
You can throw all your lucky coins on me

On me…

This is beyond beautiful. Who knew a simple object such as a snow globe could inspire such a song like this. I mean this guy, Gregory Alan Isakov is so beyond talented to be able to create music like this. He not only has a beautiful, beautiful voice, that's like butter, he also writes lyrics and composes music that just meet to one another. Each song syncs so beautifully together. Maybe that's why I love his music. It's like a comfort to the human soul. I sure know it is a comfort to my soul. If he ever happens to see my comment, I just want to say thank you Gregory Alan Isakov for this. Thank you for having the courage and bravery to share your thoughts, feelings and creativity with the world. Because by you doing so, you make others feel like they too, can do the same. Also please, please, please come to South Florida to perform. We love you here! =)
