when you play your playlist on shuffle and another song comes out after primeval dark and it just feels off

It's almost a sin not listening to them together.

These are two powerful songs. That bass drum pattern/guitar riff is fantastic!

Absolutely one of my all time favourites from this band and in the whole genre. I just weep, everytime I listen to it, as it is so sweet and emotional... especially at 7:00!

The Primeval Dark and While We Sleep are two of my favorite tracks off Shadows of the Dying Sun. They flow together so perfectly and they are truly beautiful songs.

This whole album is amazing.. kinda makes me want to play skyrim though..

Yeah, they link together inter-track so I feel like it was a proper thing to do. I actually really hate when bands decide to do that, but I forgive Insomnium for it since they're so great :v

I feel it's a love hate relationship, the intro song just makes the song following it so much better because of the build up, but then sometimes the intro song is like 30 seconds, and it would sound dumb for it to come on, only to have the song following it be something else. (if you're listening to music on random)

They did a great job on the build up. One of the few intro songs out there that actually deserves it's place.
