Me, too. From the very beginning, Bay is the one I most wanted to see as a mom. I don't care about Toby becoming a dad now, unless Bay has children, too. Lately, I wonder if Bay even likes children, though. Bay wanted Toby and Lily to abort their baby. After taking the morning-after pill, Bay cringed to Daphne that she could have had "this thing" growing inside of her that could have become a person, as if that was the most disgusting thought in the world. Season 4 Bay isn't who I thought she would be in Season 1. It's weird. Now Daphne seems to be the one that loves babies and children the most, when I always thought it would be Bay. Maybe it's something genetic. Regina had an aversion to babies, too. Perhaps Emmett was meant to choose Daphne in Season 1. That's who Melody wanted for him. Emmett and Daphne share a culture and similar personality traits. Bay isn't interested in breaking away to start her own family. Daphne broke away from Regina a long time ago.

Bay does like children. There was a scene in season 3 where she's playing with her baby sister (Angelo's child that was given up for adoption without his knowledge) and she clearly loves her. She also tried to help Angelo get her back during season 2. Plus, in her dream in season 3, she was in labor with Angelo by her side.

+xCanYouFeelTheLovex I have seen all of those scenes and know them well. There's also the scene where Bay is talking to her nephew, still growing inside of Lily. And while that scene is sweet and gives me hope for Bay holding onto some softness, I still believe that the writers are developing Bay's character to become someone who does not care about ever taking on the roles of wife or mother. I hope that I am wrong, but that seems to be the direction they are aiming for Bay. I find the choice disillusioning. It takes away from the magic of the series. I fear Bay will be ready to focus on herself and her art career at the end of the series (which she should have been doing all along), and that is how the series will end, with some sort of female empowerment message that feels passe.

Am i the only one freaking out that Daphne was holding the baby whilst taking the selfie. i mean she had like 6 other people to take the picture.

I just watched this again and noticed a second hand over Daphne's when she took the photo. Bay probably helped her hold him so she could take the picture.

I wish Daphne and Bay both had had kids -- 2 girls, mini-me's of each of them :-)

I think a good plot twist for maybe, the middle of season 5 would be Nikki comes back not knowing Toby has a son and claiming to still love him. Then things get Akward cause of Niki.

I thought Emmett handled the situation maturely. He realized that if Bay was not treating him like a partner, then she wasn't ready to live with him. Emmett was a freshman in college. Why does he need to take on that kind of responsibility, when Bay couldn't even bring it upon herself to tell him about her potential to develop aneurysms? Bay didn't even include Emmett in her decision to take the fall for Daphne. Bay was always doing her own thing, without a thought for Emmett. Why should Emmett take on that kind of responsibility, when Bay would rather tell her ex-boyfriend about her aneurysm than him? Bay shared intimacy with Tank, before she ever got drunk at that party. Bay told Tank about relationship problems with Emmett. Bay allowed Tank to comfort her with his undivided attention. Here, Bay had cheated on Tank, broke his heart, and she still used him in this way. It's not a matter of Emmett not being mature enough to handle the situation. Instead, Emmett was SO mature that he realized he was NOT ready to take the next step and live with Bay. Her decision to issue the ultimatum on the beach was the last straw. The audacity of Bay thinking she could risk years in prison (and knowing Emmett would wait for her), but not being willing to wait for Emmett to finish college is telling. Who does Bay think she is? Bay's ultimatum told Emmett all he needed to know about her maturity level. Bay wasn't ready to move to California to live with Emmett. She needs to grow up first.

Well Toby is a dad, lets see how he does. And poor Regina, she really thought Eric was her 2nd chance at love because she didn't wanna grieve Angelo her whole life. Plus since Bay and Daphne were called to come home, now we wonder what ind of drama awaits us. For a while i was just hoping it would just end like "there they are, just one big happy family"

WHY IS IT TEN MONTHS LATER FOR THE PREVIEW

Just think in ten months, Lilly and Toby would b in Londo maybe married n, Carlton would be big, Daphne would be in her second and bay in her first years of college, and MINGO and Daphne might or may not be together, bay would have chosen between garret or Travis, and Eric might be arrested, the Kennishs would be poorer or maybe they invested in the brandy rose, Gigi and Otis would be adopted, Emmett would be back on LA already.....10 months is LONG

+AGloverforever Exactly! Why would they skip all that time when all that could've happened?! Maybe they'll backtrack, though, like they did in the episode that Angelo died or have another explanation for it. The characters could also always just talk about what happened. We'll have to see when season five comes...

+JoshleenForever _ Shows that they didn't go back to school but established a life together in China and other developments would have occurred while they were away. Its really a last minute cliff hanger that they made because they didn't know if they were going to be renewed and when they were they had to think of a new way to propel the story. If they wouldn't have been renewed than this would have been the last scene of the series.

@Minette L Boroda they had already put this episode together and had it ready to air way before they knew it was going to be renewed so they couldn't have suddenly decided to add the cliffhanger onto the end. 

@KenzieLillian They made the episode but not the cliff hanger. In interviews the writers are saying that they have some rough ideas of next seasons storyline but are not too sure. The cliff hanger is approx. 2 minutes and that could have been filmed and added on with minimal difficulty especially because it was outside and with only 2 of the main cast so there was no need to get a lot of crew and such. So it is not unlikely that they added it after they were renewed. If they weren't why would the cliffhanger be there? If they were not renewed than it would have left viewers unsatisfied as opposed to the birth of Carlton which is very happy ever after. It could have been that they made it earlier and it was on the side until they knew, but they wouldn't have put it at the end either way.
