Since you left this earth on January 30, 2019, I have been heartbroken. However, this is; and has always been one of my favorite hymns. You, by far, do it best.

You always lived your life as a humble man. You never sought to be famous, yet fame found you. You were always a Christian man first, from a young age often telling the guys you worked with in various bands about the Lord and giving them your testimony and quoting from the Bible.

You were afflicted with what you had to know was a slow growing terminal illness, but you never lost your sparkle, your ability or desire to sing and most of all you never lost your faith. Rest now in peace and power Mr. James Ingram, now safe in the arms of Jesus.

Thank you for sharing your many gifts and talents with us. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Since his death... the reality of his knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ becomes more apparent to me.

May his voice bring comfort to many people hurting in this world and be an uplifting force for those left behind. His talent was underrated but never understated and cannot be disputed.
