Primus, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, 311, Incubus, etc....were Funky as hell during the 1990’s. Truly blessed times for “Western” music, specifically American music.

One of my favorite all time albums and this isn't the typical music that I normally listen to.

A lot of people think hilikus means 'high like us' but it is actually a word meaning crazy, so "You got to be hilikus" means you've got to be crazy.

The reason why RHCP keeps the hyped-atmosphere within crowds in the music is because of flea and chad, RHCP has changed through atleast 5 guitarists and they were still able to get people going effortlessly, Incubus did start with funk, but it all changed because they have a different style of approaching music, the fact that Ben Kenny Got involved with them after Dirk Lance left it means nothing. They still created organized sound influencing many souls.

i wouldn't say that incubus is gay now. have you seen just one really good band, that haven't changed it's style during the centuries? what they're doin' now isn't gay, it's just something completely different.
I love the old incubus songs as much as the new ones. so go on and listen to fungus amongus the next 20 years, but don't fuck around with people who are in the condition to change they're musical style. because that probably the heaviest and best part of making art.
