Every time I hear this song it renews its spot as a wedding song.._for me. Though I tend to listen to it every now and then for that purpose. The first time I heard this song I wanted it as the song my partner and I dance to. Yeah the lyrics say one thing, but the meaning as a whole says a lot of what I would say and feel to my partner. Makes me cry though for specific reasons

I actually prefer the version of this song that Maria does solo with only the piano, the video of it here on YT says the performance is from a DVD. I only discovered this band recently but I love what I've heard so far!

This song was my first dance with my husband at my wedding. We were listening to my ITM albums in the car. We just so happened to be in search of music for our wedding. About halfway through this song we looked at each other, and didn't even have to say anything. We knew this was the song.

+KittieZombieSlayer I dunno. I discovered them through the Black Widow album and listened to most of their prev albums as well since then. I'm not saying the older ones are bad, but I strongly prefer their actual music style.

@Jennifer Debary I do not like modern music. I mostly prefer stuff from the 60's and 70's, so I do not know why you bring it up without even knowing anything about my musical preference. And I stand by my opinion. You are entitled to your opinion, and your taste in music, but I still think her voice is mediocre. I am not saying she is bad or horrible, just that she is not the greatest.

well true the greatest she isn't. You said it yourself you don't like modern music so my question is why critique it at all? That's like me going to some Rap Video or country and putting in my two cents there. I don't like the genre and I don't classify it as music. Because I don't like the genre I don't feel qualified to voice my opinion. See where I am coming from here? I personally feel that if your going to speak on a matter at least like it. Then you can criticize if some ones part in it is up to par.

I'm assuming you're talking about the more metal styled songs, right? Where she's screaming? There are songs like that on EVERY album ITM puts out, including A Star Crossed Wastle land, which is what album this song is off of.
