I finally understand people who hate it when they hear their favourite band change, even if only slightly: they want the ACDC experience. Yeah, and they’re probably fans of that shitty band too. You hear a song, maybe off of Back in Black, and you just want songs that make you feel like that. And so, instead of understanding that a band is 1-10 people with ever changing lives (RE: experiences) and changing musical influences, some bands don’t stagnate. I don’t hate, say, Nickelback for busting their asses and touring the shitty clubs. I hate them for making music that seems tailored to a WWE wrestling show or a Nascar car crash highlight reel. Just like I don’t hate Slipknot for being passionate, I hate fans of bands like Slipknot who act like their songs are 100% distinguishable from one another. I’m just glad Corey started doing solo stuff before he Chris Cornelled himself. Just like I’m glad Jesper jumped ship on IF to help CyHra become another uninspired Swedish power metal band. The only difference is it sounds like the clean vocals are being translated as they’re being sung, and the high notes make my balls shrivel. Some bands should perform in certain languages, and that’s one of them. At least Anders has a decent English accent. Far more distinguished tone than their first guy. But please, return to your caves and Clayman CDs that you didn’t buy new, or more like.. welcome back, glad the slight screams gave you ‘reason’ to drop your shit opinions like an unwanted horse in an overlong parade.

Such a cool way to tell their story. This is what they've been trying to say for a long time. Their sound has evolved a little bit on every album. Looking back now, I appreciate each album for something completely different but there are always those signature moments when I'm like "There it is. That's In Flames". This album is really really good.
