This EP was the best thing In Flames put out. The current copyright holders of In Flames would never consider playing these songs live, but they have no problem making vinyl reissues of this album without paying the vocalist any royalties for the lyrics he wrote

Fuck, this song is from 1995 and I'm discovering it 22 years later. And yet it's better than everything I've listened to this year. The intro riff is just badass.

And they can still make money without doing this kind of music anymore so why do something "hard to make" when you can make a living easier way? That's just what I'm thinking though. I don't know the real reason.

@Ruusi Lyrics Why you ask? For the love and passion of this type of genre. There' are plenty of bands that play even heavier music+ that are older than in flames

But have you thought that maybe, just maybe they don't actually like this kind of music? Maybe they liked it when they started but wanted to do some other kind of music? Maybe they just want to explore new sounds and not do the same thing over and over again. But like I said: I don't know.

In flames as they are now appear to be forcing themselves to play the music they do today. Because I can't tell that they changed their style ever since the album clayman
